The Kaye Effect explained: Depending on the Brand of shampoo used you will notice a possible difference in the way this effect occurs. For instance (simple explination) You know how pudding will FILM on the top layer if left out or in the fridge to long. this is the same effect but many times quicker. As the shampoo is pressing down in the CENTER of the shampoo its pushing down the filmlayer until the point were it has filmed thick enough and becomes a hard enough layer to force a bowl shape, the shampoo stream is going down one side of the bowl and being ejected out of the other. the stream angles up further because the pressure at the bottom of the arch of the bowl is forced down increasing the arch to the point were it closes off at the opening and starts the process over again. this is a valid explination, feel free to share your thoughts :)
